Q: Where can you collect from and deliver to?
A: We can collect your car from any location within a 15mile (approx) radius of Bristol, Cambridge, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Hastings, Newbury, Norwich, South Gloucestershire, Tewkesbury, Lichfield and Cannock. We can collect from home, work, or anywhere you choose.
Q: What times can you collect and deliver?
A: Our standard hours are 8.30am-5.30pm. However, if you require a collection or delivery outside these times, please call and speak to your local MOT2U centre.
Q: Is my car insured?
A: Yes, any car we take for MOT testing is FULLY COMPREHENSIVELY insured. We take the utmost care to drive your car responsibly and safely, and our dirvers are all pre-vetted.
Q: How do I pay?
A: You can pay by Credit Card, Debit Card, Cheque or Cash.
Q: When do I get a receipt?
A: A receipt will be provided when your car is delivered back to you.
Q: How do I get my MOT Certificate?
A: Your MOT certificate will either be left in car on the seat, or if preferred, handed to you personally when we deliver the car back to you.
Q: What happens if my car fails the MOT?
A: If your car fails the MOT we will immediately call to let you know, explain why the car has failed and let you know the next steps.
Q: How much does it cost for a retest?
A: If the repair work is done by MOT2U you will not have to pay for a retest. However, if you decide to get your car repaired elsewhere, then a re-collection fee of £25 + VAT is charged.
Q: How do I contact MOT2U in case of a change of plan?
A: You can either call us on 0844 561 6663, contact your collection driver who will leave you their mobile number, or, if it's an emergency and outside office hours, you can call 07792 962848.
Q: Do all your charges include VAT?
A: The MOT test fee is VAT free. However other services are subject to VAT at the current rate.
